Welcome to the exciting world of microscopy. Scientists and teachers have created lessons for community outreach in Madison, WI and surrounding communities. We offer scientific enrichment to elementary-aged children. Our inquiry-based curriculum offers young “MicroExplorers” the opportunity to explore the microworld.
We can accommodate up to 25 children at each session. We provide laptops, digital microscopes, materials and scientists/teachers to lead inquiry-based microscope explorations. Each MicroExploration takes approximately one hour. Multiple groups can be accommodated through a rotation schedule. Each exploration is tailored to the developmental needs and age level of the explorers.
